Getting Started
Empire of Praxia is a small pixel MMORPG you play on your phone. You share one big world with everyone else who is online, so the person chopping trees next to you is a real player.
When you first load in you make an account with Google or a username and password, then you pick a class and a name. That name sticks with you, so choose something you will not cringe at later. After that you spawn in the grasslands near the town and you are free to wander.
Choose a Class
Three classes are planned, but right now the Warrior is the only one you can play. Priest and Sorcerer are on the way. Since Warrior is your only choice for now, the rest of this guide is written around it.
Warrior
The straightforward melee bruiser. Walks up, hits things, takes the hits back. Scales on Strength and Dexterity, and gets the widest weapon selection in the game.
StrengthDexterity
Priest
A support healer built around Focus and Blessing, planned to keep a party alive with the Priest Aura. Not playable yet.
FocusBlessing
Sorcerer
A ranged caster that will run on Intelligence for its magic damage, hitting from a safe distance. Not playable yet.
IntelligenceThe Basics
You move with the touch joystick and tap an enemy to attack. The server tracks everything for you. Every fresh character starts the same way:
- 100 max health and 100 max mana
- A base damage value of 13 before any stats or gear
- 1 point in each of the five stats
- 100 gold in your pocket
From there your job is to kill things a little stronger than the last, spend your stat points wisely, and pick up better gear. Health and damage both climb as you invest, so a level 40 character is worlds apart from the level 1 you started as.
Combat itself is simple. Get in range, attack on cooldown, and watch the enemy health bar. Most early monsters swing about once every two seconds, which gives you plenty of room to trade blows and back off if a fight goes bad.
Stats
You earn stat points as you level, and you spend them on five stats. Each class only cares about some of them.
| Stat | Short | What it does | Class |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strength | STR | Melee damage | Warrior |
| Dexterity | DEX | Warrior stat, pairs with Strength | Warrior |
| Intelligence | INT | Magic damage | Sorcerer |
| Focus | FOC | Max mana and mana regeneration | Priest |
| Blessing | BLE | Heal bonus | Priest |
Only two of these do anything for you at a time, so pouring points into the wrong ones is wasted. A Warrior lives on Strength and Dexterity. A Sorcerer only cares about Intelligence for magic damage. A Priest wants Focus for a deep mana pool and Blessing to make heals land harder.
Gear adds its own stats on top of what you spend. A Silver Spear, for example, hands a Warrior a big pile of Dexterity the moment it is equipped, so your gear and your points push in the same direction.
Leveling
Killing monsters gives combat experience. The catch is that each level costs more than the one before it. The very first level up needs 100 experience, and every level after that costs about 14 percent more than the last.
That compounding adds up fast. Here is roughly what the climb looks like:
| Level | Total experience needed |
|---|---|
| 10 | 1,604 |
| 20 | 7,887 |
| 30 | 31,195 |
| 40 | 117,616 |
| 50 | 438,004 |
| 75 | 11.6 million |
| 100 | 307 million |
| 140 | 58 billion |
The level cap sits around 140, and getting there is a long haul. The good news is that the same curve powers your gathering and crafting skills too, so every log you chop and every bar you forge counts toward something.
Gold and Praxite
Two currencies run the economy.
Gold is what you earn in the world. Monsters drop it, you sell loot for it, and you spend it at the tool shop, the forge, and on gear from other players. You start with 100 and build up from there.
Praxite is the premium currency, and there are four ways to get it. Buy it through the store icon in your inventory, trade another player for it, or win it in a giveaway. The fourth way is out in the world: bosses and shiny elite Spear Goblins can drop the Jade Talisman, which is worth Praxite. Once you have some, Keith's shop in town is where you spend it, on things like the Jade Talisman, the Dog Tag, and the Cowboy Skin. You never need Praxite to be strong, so do not feel pressured. It is there for style and shortcuts.
The Town
The town sits in the middle of the map and it is where you will keep coming back. Everything you need is clustered together.

Forge
Turn ore bars into gear. This is where most of your early armor and weapons come from.

Fighting is not the only way to level. Woodcutting and Mining both give you their own experience and feed straight into crafting. Grab a starter axe and pickaxe from Jeff and get going. Better tools gather more per swing and swing faster.
Tools
| Tool | Level | Bonus gather | Gather speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze pickaxe / axe | 1 | +3 | 200 |
| Iron pickaxe / axe | 10 | +6 | 400 |
| Silver pickaxe / axe | 20 | +9 | 600 |
| Gold pickaxe / axe | 30 | +12 | 800 |

Nodes and trees deplete when you work them and take a while to grow back, so if a spot is picked clean just move to the next one. The map further down shows where the good clusters are.
Crafting
Forging
Smelt your ore into bars and take them to the Forge to make gear. A Bronze Sword, for instance, comes from a Pine Log and twelve Bronze Bars. Forging has its own level, and the better pieces need a higher forging level before you can make them. Working your way up is how you kit yourself out without spending a fortune on the player market.
Totem Carving
The Carving Station turns logs into totems at the cost of carving experience. Totems are equippable buffs, and you can wear several at once, so carving pays off for the whole rest of the game.
Totems
Totems are your buff system, and they work a little differently than gear. You slot them into four totem slots, and each one gets spent as you play. A Damage Totem is used every attack, an Experience Totem every time you gain experience, and so on. They stack up to a billion, so you carve or farm a big pile and burn through it while you grind.

Damage Totem
Plus 20% damage, spent once per attack. Your default grinding totem.
Totem Carving 1Birch Log
Earth Totem
Boosts gathering efficiency, spent once per strike. Made for woodcutters and miners.
Totem Carving 40Pine LogTotems drop from monsters and you carve your own at the Carving Station, each from a specific log. Experience Totems are the one most new players sleep on. Keep a stack running while you grind and the levels come noticeably faster.
Gear and Slots
You have thirteen equipment slots and thirty six inventory slots. The layout looks like this:
- Head, Chest, Legs, and Boots for armor
- One Weapon slot
- Four Totem slots
- One Necklace and two Ring slots
- One Cosmetic slot for skins that do not change your stats
Gear has a level requirement and often a class requirement, so a shiny drop is not always something you can use yet. Bank the pieces you are saving for later and keep climbing toward them.
Monsters
Here is the early ladder. Fight the ones near your level, and once they die too easily, move up.
| Monster | Level | Health | Damage | Experience | Notable drop |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bat | 1 | 150 | 4 to 14 | 20 | Bronze Sword |
| Pawn | 8 | 450 | 44 to 55 | 95 | Bronze Sword, Iron Leggings |
| Bandit | 14 | 700 | 80 to 100 | 160 | Bronze Chestplate |
| Knight | 22 | 1,000 | heavy | 320 | Knight Helmet |
| Torch Goblin | 38 | 4,000 | heavy | 1,800 | Silver Greaves |
| Spear Goblin | 52 | 8,500 | heavy | 3,200 | Silver Spear |
Bats are the classic first kill. They roam, they are weak, and they even drop the odd Bronze Sword. Pawns are your next step up once you can take a real hit. From Knights onward the rare armor pieces start showing up, and those tiny drop chances are worth farming for.
Bosses
Four names stand above the rest. They live in their own camps at the edges of the map, and they hit like trucks, so bring levels and friends.
Zubayir sits at level 75 with 22,000 health and drops proper endgame pieces like Agoth's Blade. The Minotaur is the mountain at the top: level 170, a wall of 140,000 health, and the source of the Titanium Spear. Both are worth the trip once you are geared for them.
The Minotaur can also spawn shiny, and that is where the best loot in the game comes from. More on that right below.
Shiny Monsters
Once in a while a monster spawns shiny, marked by an odd recolor. A shiny is tougher than the normal version, with a much bigger health pool, but it pays out extra experience and drops loot you cannot get anywhere else. Every shiny kill also hands you a guaranteed Jade Talisman on top of its rare rolls.
Only two monsters can go shiny right now, and they share the same loot pool:
| Monster | Shiny chance | Health | Experience | Shiny drops |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spear Goblin | 0.1% | 2.5x | 2x | Jade Talisman (guaranteed), Titanium Spear, Crimson Braids, Gold Gem |
| Minotaur | 2.5% | 2.4x | 1.5x | Jade Talisman (guaranteed), Titanium Spear, Crimson Braids, Gold Gem |
The Minotaur is the one to chase. At 2.5% it goes shiny often enough to farm on purpose, and a shiny Minotaur is the best source of the Titanium Spear and Gold Gems anywhere. Shiny Spear Goblins are far rarer at one in a thousand, so treat those as a lucky surprise rather than a plan.
The World Map
Praxia is one connected map. The town sits in the middle, the autumn woods spread across the west, the greener forest fills the south and east, and the boss camps tuck into the corners.

Tips for Your First Day
- Spend every stat point on the two stats your class actually uses. Nothing else.
- Buy a Bronze axe and pickaxe early. Gathering levels while you rest between fights.
- Bank gear you are saving for later so your 36 inventory slots stay open for loot.
- Slot an Experience Totem while you grind and the levels come faster.
- Fight monsters slightly above your level for the best experience, and retreat when your health dips.
- Say hi in chat. Praxia is small, and a friendly party makes the bosses possible.
- You never need Praxite to get strong, so spend gold on gear and tools first.
That is enough to get you off the ground. Go make some Bats regret spawning, and welcome to Praxia.
Praxia+
Praxia+ is the optional monthly membership. You buy it from the button in your settings, and it is there to support the game rather than to win it.
It gives you a green [Praxia+] title above your character, plus two chat commands. /spawn teleports you back to spawn, which saves a long walk when you are gathering out in the far corners of the map. /daily hands you 10 Praxite once a day.
That daily is worth doing the maths on. Ten Praxite is exactly one Jade Talisman, so a week of logging in covers most of a Dog Tag at 100. The Cowboy Skin at 5,000 is far beyond daily money, so treat that one as a long term goal from boss drops and trading.
Admins and curators already carry the same commands, so if you see someone using them without the title, that is why. More is planned later, including Praxia+ only areas and servers.
None of it makes you stronger. Your levels, gear and stats are exactly the same either way, so skip it with a clear conscience if you would rather not spend.
